"Tanner's Story" is the fourth short of The Bremen Avenue Experience, following "Jessica's Story" and preceding "Barrett's Story." It originally aired on Cartoon Network in-between programs on June 2, 2008. The short features Barrett, Simon, Jessica, Tanner, and Pete Donnelly.
The short opens up with Simon, Barrett and Jessica all observing drawings of costume designs by Simon until Tanner's father, Pete Donnelly comes in and greets the trio by bringing food for them (Ants on a Log) but this makes Tanner himself feel embarrassed of the occurrence. Afterwards, Pete notices Simon's drawings and compliments them, noting that his creativity is similar to that of Jake Python. An interested Barrett then asks Pete about how he knew Jake Python, revealing that he worked as a roadie for him along with a couple other musicians and bands. Pete then begins detailing his previous life as a roadie by explaining several occasions he helped with which greatly interest the other characters, except for Tanner.
However, in contrast to Pete's positive nostalgia, he then starts to detail how he never got a chance to ever perform on stage and still feels upset that this dream of his won't ever seem to come true. However, Tanner, now feeling sorry for his father, has a change of heart and allows Pete to use his drums when the band rehears, delighting Pete in response to this. The short concludes with the band happily rehearsing together, now having Pete play the drums and Tanner enjoying some food.
- This was the most commonly aired short of the series.
- This short also marks the only time another character appears besides the main four.
