Plot SummaryEdit

Huckleberry Hound tries to quiet a town so that he can sing his song, Oh My Darlin', in peace and quiet. He turns a construction worker's drill to "birds" mode, zips a radio announcer's mouth up "literally," interrupts a man and woman's conversation on their cell phones, and stops two teenagers from bobbing their head back and forth. Then, he finally can sing which makes the whole town scream because of how bad it was.

  • Sound Hound is the only Huckleberry Hound short to be made with cut-out animation.
  • The episode used to air on Cartoon Network until 2004.
  • Sound Hound is probably the most popular shortie.
