Christmas is Boomerang's most recent Christmas marathon, replacing The Boomerang Christmas Party in 2015. It was removed in 2016.

Format[]

The same general format as The Boomerang Christmas Party was used in this block, which features Christmas-themed episodes of Hanna-Barbera and classic Cartoon Network programming. However, the block had been updated from its predecessor to include episodes of more recent programming, such as Teen Titans Go!, The Amazing World of Gumball, and The Garfield Show.

The block did not air in 2017, due to the majority of the programs that have been featured leaving the network's line-up earlier that year. [1] Grandma Got Ran Over By A Reindeer aired on Freeform as part of its "25 Days of Christmas" block, and Cartoon Network aired a marathon of every episode of Teen Titans Go! (including the episode "Christmas", which was shown on Boomerang as part of the block's 2016 line-up) from December 24 to 31, 2017.

Final content[]

The final line-up aired from December 19 to 25, 2016[2]:

In addition to the shows above, Cartoon Network Retro aired Christmas and winter-themed episodes of Dexter's Laboratory, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Courage the Cowardly Dog, The Flintstones, Yogi Bear, The Jetsons, and The Smurfs.
